Full Tilt's Mini World Series of Poker (WSOP) is Under Way
If the airfares, hotel bills and, er, thousands of dollars in entry money have put you off heading to Las Vegas this month, never fear – you can now play some of the events in the comfort of your own bedroom at a vastly reduced buy-in courtesy of online poker giants Full Tilt.
Full Tilt Poker’s 2009 Mini Series of Poker kicked off on May 27th but there are still plenty of tournaments running till the end of the ‘real’ WSOP in Vegas. Online tournaments correspond in time with their WSOP counterparts and have buy-ins 100th of the real ones. For example, when the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event kicks off in Vegas tonight, June 2nd, a $15 NLHE tournament takes place on Full Tilt. In addition to the cash prizes, Mini Series of Poker winners will receive a limited edition Full Tilt Poker Champion’s Watch plus points. Players can work their way to the top of the MSOP Leaderboard and the winner of that will win a $10K seat in the 2010 WSOP Main Event.
The MSOP Main Event starts on July 5th with a $100+$9 buy-in and carries a $250K GTD pool. Satellites into all events are running from as little as $1 or 50 Full Tilt Points.
