Mobile Phone Deal brings Gambling to Thousands of Phones
Two technology companies, Mfuse and Probability, have struck a deal which will mean that hundreds of thousands of betting games for your mobile phone will be available as the gambling market continues to boom.
The UK-based mobile technology firm Mfuse and AIM-listed Probability will together make games which are developed by the company available to hundreds of thousands of gamblers. Having already developed more than 30 mobile games, Probability will take advantage of Mfuse’s gaming technology, which links to betting firms including Gala Coral Group, Ladbrokes, Sky Best, Paddy Power and William Hill to develop a series of popular games.
The mobile gambling market is currently booming despite the economic recession and legal problems in certain markets. Juniper Research, independent experts in the field, estimate that the global mobile gambling industry will take £11.3 billion ($16.6 billion) worth of bets on a number of different platforms, including casino betting, lotteries and sports betting.
"The sports betting market is growing very rapidly and shows no signs of stopping," said Marcus Wareham, chief executive of Mfuse. "As a result, we know the appetite is there for mobile gaming products. Opening up our platform allows us to rapidly deploy already successful mobile content to a huge client base.
"The partnership with Probability provides us with a strong base from which to start due to their large portfolio of original and branded content."
