Full Tilt Throw Weight Behind Online Poker Fight

The world’s second largest poker site is stepping up its efforts to help legalise and regulate online poker across America by urging its players to “Stand Up For Poker.” The sites new campaign is designed to raise awareness for the cause of online poker by directing players across the America to contact their local government representatives. Full Tilt’s staff are on hand to provide contact details for any player’s local person of interest and they are being asked to write, email or phone and use one of the standard templates created by Full Tilt.

The H.R. 2267 bill was created by Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank and is designed to legalise and regulate online poker, something that every poker player across the U.S. is desperate to see brought into action. With more and more European countries now taking steps to regulate online poker it looks as though America will eventually follow suit, but not before a series of legal loopholes have been negotiated and overcome by the supporters of the bill. Hopefully this latest move by Full Tilt will further help chances of online poker finally being legalised in America and reopen the biggest poker market in the world.
