Pokerstar’s flagship tournament offering, the World Championship of Online Poker, is set to return this September with more the $40,000,000 being offered across 60 events. Last year a record number of players threw their money into the pot for a coveted WCOOP bracelet and this year the numbers are expected to reach new highs. Many of the biggest names in the online tournament world including the likes of Chris Moorman, Dan Kelly and Isaac Baron will be tearing up the felt, as well as many of the top live players such as Daniel Negreanu and Pokerstars’ newest recruit, WPT champion David Williams.
The series will run from September 5th to the 26th with buy-ins ranging from $215 to $25,000. The highlights of the schedule will undoubtedly be the $25k High Rollers event as well as the Main Event, but there is unlikely to be any dull moments throughout the entire festival.
