What have been the biggest breakthroughs at CyberBingo over the past year?
CyberBingo has had several breakthroughs in 2008 that enabled us to grow and poise the company to become a major player in the competitive online gaming industry. A celebrity spokesperson was selectively recruited for CyberBingo and she was given the gratifying job of awarding the successful “Mini Car Giveaway” prize to the winner. In the past year, we were also effectively able to improve our suite of games, such as exciting new casino games (i.e. blackjack, more video slots, multi-hand video poker, network bingo rooms and sharing of players from our other corporate brands onto one unified platform).
What has been the biggest hurdle to overcome?
In 2008, we saw more competition in the online gaming marketplace, and we were faced with the challenge of building brand awareness and finding a more defined niche for all our brands moving forward. Furthermore, more work is needed aligning our strategic marketing programs and implementing them across several brands, which remain a challenge in 2009. As the competition in the marketplace increased, we found significant challenges building our brand awareness among popular household brand names with larger marketing budgets and brand equity.
As much as you can disclose, what milestones are you striving for in 2009?
As far as milestones, the company will be expanding the overall network of bingo sites to offer our customers more variety, while continuing and increasing the suite of games offered on all our brands. As a company, we are looking forward to winning and celebrating additional GOM awards in 2009, as we have so consistently achieved in the past few years. We are also striving to improve our affiliate/marketing programs and further develop strategic marketing alliances with well-respected UK-based corporations.
