What have been the biggest breakthroughs at Aces Royal over the past year?
The biggest breakthrough for Aces Royal during 2008 was to achieve the 0.2s send-receive time that makes our AR3 platform the fastest mobile gaming platform in the world. We were able to promote it using the slogan “as fast as online or we’ll double your sign-up bonus.” Only one player claimed it was slower. We paid him and sent him a bottle of Champagne.
What has been the biggest hurdle to overcome?
The biggest hurdles to overcome to date have been technical “poker on mobile” and distribution. It is not easy to promote a new concept and to also ask people to sign up for it now.
As much as you can disclose, what milestones are you striving for in 2009?
The milestones we are striving towards during 2009 are the launch of a totally new approach to mobile gaming and working with large online poker providers. Both are big goals and we look forward to some fun!
What sets Aces Royal apart from its competition?
The thing that sets Aces Royal apart is how many hours players spend at the tables in a session—and perhaps also that a lot of our players choose to play mobile poker even when they are at home.
