What was the highlight of 2007 for the company and why?
Winning both the Best Casino of the year by Casinomeister and having our Casino Customer Service recognised as being the best by Gambling Online Magazine were great ways to start the year.

What has been the worst moment of 2007 for the company and why?
Our strategy of adding a Sportsbooks to our gaming portfolio, with the intention of cross-selling products to our players, has to be seen as our lowest point with the sale of the betdirect business in the latter part of the year.

What has been the biggest win of the year by a punter on your site?
2007 got off to a tremendous start for one of our players. Making her 32nd visit to the 32Red online casino, this lucky player went away £1 million richer by hitting the jackpot on our King Cashalot slot. That was the biggest highlight; not quite the biggest online casino payout, but it wasn’t far off. A win of this magnitude and the fact that that the winnings were in the player’s bank account within 24 hours were a great testaments to the integrity of the business and the software used; it is brilliant for players to see that these amounts can be won when playing online.

What makes your customer service stand out?
Quite simply, our ethos is to treat our players better than we would expect to be treated ourselves. Providing a service that is tailored to the individual and one that is personable, knowledgeable and resolves the query at the first point of contact is what we strive to deliver every time we are contacted by one of our players. We actively encourage and support all who are directly involved with our players to go that extra step for the player and be prepared to delight and surprise them with our efforts. We also try to make it as easy as possible for our players to contact us, when the need arises, whether that is by phone, email or live chat. Active involvement in the playing community, via the many forums available, also helps us keep in tune with what makes a player tick and probably, more importantly, what ticks them off.

How many staff does the company employ and where?
We employ a total of 43, with all of our operations and personnel based in Gibraltar; a nice place to do business.

What do you have planned for 2008? What sort of year is it going to be?
We are confident of an exciting and challenging year ahead. The award-winning 32Red online casino will soon be available via mobile phone and the launch of our bingo offering is imminent. We have exciting plans to launch in a number of new territories in Europe and the Far East as the year unfolds as well.
